MARINA SLIP ACCOUNTS, DELINQUENCY & SECOND NOTICE
If you have any questions regarding the delinquency procedure, please contact the Marina Office. Payments not received by the 10th of the month will result with a $18.00 late fee.
Please contact the Marina Office if you have not provided the required proof of vessel ownership so that arrangements can be made to ensure that a copy of your registration/documentation is currently on file in the Marina. State laws require that all motorboats; regardless of length; all sailboats 14 feet in length or longer or any sailboat with an auxiliary engine(s); NEW USCG Documented vessels (see section below); and all outboard motors must be titled. Exempted vessels include "all (non-motorized) canoes, kayaks, punts, rowboats or rubber rafts (regardless of length) when paddled, poled or oared and sailboats under 14 feet in length when windblown."
REGISTRATION OF DOCUMENTED VESSELS
Effective January 1, 2004, vessels documented by the U. S. Coast Guard are no longer exempt from state registration requirements. Documented recreational vessels, shrimp boats and other commercial fishing boats are not exempt from State registration unless they exceed 115 feet in length.
LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS & VERIFICATION
Seabrook Marina requires its tenants to maintain, at their expense, at all times during their tenancy in the marina, full liability insurance with respect to the premises in an amount not less than THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS and to furnish appropriate evidence that such insurance is in full force. The marina reserves the right to terminate tenancy should the lessee fail to provide proof of insurance or fail to notify the Marina of the cancellation of this insurance.
It is not our intention to make this situation difficult, but for our safety and yours, we must have evidence of said insurance.
Please let us know, via our contact form, when/if your telephone numbers or address information has changed. We rely on you to provide the most up-to-date information, which is important when it is necessary to make contact with you.
